The starter solenoid relay is part of the vehicle's electric starting circuit.

When the rider presses the starter button, a low-current control signal energizes the relay. The relay then closes its internal high-current contacts, connecting battery power to the starter motor.

A failing starter solenoid may contribute to symptoms such as:

• Clicking when the starter button is pressed
• Starter motor not turning
• Intermittent starting
• No response from the starter circuit
• Starter working only occasionally
