Warranty Policy
Last Updated: [04. 2026]
At GOOFIT Moto, we stand behind the quality of our aftermarket motorcycle, ATV, scooter, dirt bike, and small engine parts. This Warranty Policy explains the limited warranty coverage that may apply to products purchased from our website.
1. Limited Warranty Coverage
We offer a 90-day limited warranty from the date of delivery on eligible products purchased directly from goofitmoto.com.
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper installation.
If a product is found to be defective during the warranty period, we will, at our discretion:
- replace the item,
- issue store credit, or
- provide a full or partial refund.
2. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty applies only to defects caused by:
- faulty materials,
- manufacturing defects,
- product failure under normal and intended use.
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear,
- damage caused by improper installation,
- damage caused by misuse, abuse, modification, or accidents,
- electrical damage caused by short circuits, incorrect wiring, poor grounding, voltage overload, or related vehicle system failures,
- damage caused by incompatible applications or incorrect fitment,
- labor costs for installation, removal, diagnosis, or reinstallation,
- shipping costs unless otherwise agreed,
- cosmetic damage that does not affect function,
- products that have been used in racing, competition, or commercial applications unless specifically stated otherwise,
- products damaged by water intrusion, corrosion, impact, or improper storage.
4. Fitment Responsibility
Because many powersports and motorcycle parts may vary by year, make, model, engine type, connector style, OEM number, and production batch, customers are responsible for confirming compatibility before purchase and before installation.
We strongly recommend checking:
- OEM part number,
- plug/connector type,
- mounting dimensions,
- engine type and displacement,
- year/make/model fitment details listed on the product page.
Warranty claims based solely on ordering the wrong part are not considered product defects. However, such situations may still be handled under our separate Return Policy if the item is unused and return-eligible.
5. Warranty Claim Requirements
To submit a warranty claim, please contact us at help@goofitmoto.com within the warranty period and include:
- your order number,
- the product name or SKU,
- a description of the issue,
- clear photos or video showing the defect,
- vehicle information such as year, make, model, engine size, and OEM number if applicable.
We may also ask for additional information to help verify the problem before approving a claim.
6. Claim Review Process
Once we receive your warranty request, our team will review the claim and may ask troubleshooting questions or request additional photos/videos.
If the claim is approved, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:
- sending a replacement part,
- issuing store credit,
- or processing a refund.
In some cases, we may require the item to be returned for inspection before a final decision is made.
7. Return of Defective Items
If a return is required for warranty inspection:
- the item must not be intentionally altered or further damaged after the defect is discovered,
- the customer must follow the return instructions provided by our support team,
- unauthorized returns may delay or void claim processing.
8. Non-Transferable Warranty
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only to products purchased directly from goofitmoto.com. It is non-transferable and does not apply to products purchased from third-party marketplaces, unauthorized resellers, or second-hand sellers.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOOFIT Moto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, including but not limited to:
- vehicle downtime,
- towing expenses,
- mechanic fees,
- loss of use,
- or other related costs.
Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
10. Relationship to Return Policy
This Warranty Policy is separate from our Return Policy. Returns for unused items and warranty claims for defective items are handled differently. Please review our Return Policy for return eligibility, timeframes, and conditions.
