Worked great. Easy to install. Brand new condition. Would recommend.
Spliced into an SSR 125 pitbike and now I have a headlight when it is running.
Very happy with this rectifier. Outboard boat motor (9.9 HP) needed one to make the charging circuit work. Hooked it up after reading many reviews (so I could find out what the wire colors were). It does not come with a wiring diagram or instructions, but it is very straightforward if you know how a rectifier works. There are enough reviews online to find the correct wiring arrangement. Works like a charm on the motor.
Haven't got to use them yet but they are what I expected them to be ...
I purchased a new Areins Deluxe 24 snowblower, which is a great machine, except for a dismal headlight. I often found blowing snow in the evening, so lighting was important for me.The engine had a pair of wires coming out that were connected to the OEM halogen headlight. As I am a retired electrician, I checked the output and found it to be 14.7 volts AC. If you connect newer LED lighting to AC, it will flicker, especially at lower engine speed. By connecting this full-wave rectifier/voltage regulator, I can now get 13.5 volts of DC power to supply to thenew super-bright LED's with no flickering.I would definitely recommend for anyone doing an upgrade to equipment such as a lawnmower, snowblower, etc. I will mention, I believe this will work on any engine that has TWO wires coming out of it for charging circuit. Works for me...no problems.
