Worked amazing on my x ring 520 chain which is pretty heavy duty had to removed four different links to get the right chain length and it went through them all smooth and easy (the important thing to remember on how to use these is to take a deemed or grinder and grind around the edge of the pin on top just alil bit then put the chain tool on and it easily pushes the pin out and it only take 5-10 seconds to grind the pin edge and it makes the job easy and the tool lasts) hope this helps
