I ordered these petcocks thinking I could use them on my lawnmowers to cut off the fuel to prevent the carburetor from gunking up when not in use. Great concept. However, the input/output ports on these valves are 6mm and when I got them I discovered my lines need 8mm. Oh well, the valves are perfectly fine and I can probably use them once I get a plastic line adapter to make them fit. The price is good but probably because they are only 6mm in diameter and most US stuff I have is 8mm.
Got this to put a shut off in my generator fuel line. I had to replace the carburetor once when the camper sat for too long and the fuel gummed up the carb. Now I just turn the fuel off with this petcock and let the genny run out of gas to shut it off. No more gummed up carbs.
