The vacuum nipple on this purchase was double the size of the OEM one off of the scooter, so I had to change the size of the vacuum lines and connectors in the carburetor area of the unit. Not a super big deal, but just be aware that you're probably facing the same issue, at least if you're working on a CN 250 Helix.
This intake boot is an item that does eventually need replacement on a Honda Helix which is why I ordered this without an immediate need. On inspection it visually seemed up to par in terms of being made from heavy duty rubber, having a flat, machined mating surface, etc. I could not find anything wrong on inspection, thus the five star rating.Eventually I did compare this item side by side with another brand identical part, reportedly genuine Honda OEM. One difference is that this part does not include the metal clamp while the Honda OEM part included the clamp. That's not a problem as long as the old clamp can be re-used, which usually it can. The only other difference I could discern was that the Honda OEM part seemed to have just a tad harder rubber. The rubber thickness of both was identical, and hardness nearly identical, but maybe just a hair of difference in the rubber's density. They were so close I might have just imagined it.While time will tell eventually how well this part performs after thousands of miles, based on the side by side inspection with another part I have confidence in this product's quality. Finally, the current $12.59 price seems reasonable.
