Incredible value - you can replace your hot wheels or Weelye controller with this, but needs some mods (remote won’t work).So my son grew out of his 12V ride in car (with remote). So I upgraded the motors to 24V, and used a step down so the music radio and lights would still work.The binary accelerator pedal on those cars are terrible, so I bought this (with a variable 1-4V speed accelerator pedal) and moved the binary pedal to be the brake.The important part is that this brake input only cuts power to the motors. It doesn’t short the motors creating back EMF to actually “brake” the wheels.It was pretty easy to add a 40A car relay that is triggered from the brake light to achieve the full brake effect without the need for mechanical brake. The relay had a natural very tiny delay so now using the brake pedal would cut power to the motors AND short the motors which brakes the wheels.
