This fan is tightly mounted on the frame tube ends under the seat (near plastic floor pan) on 80cc scooter.Metal & Plastic Zip-ties keep it snug on tab ends.Does not bounce around on road bumps.Only had to cut and saw,the small metal tab that holds the CDI module,to sit the fan on top of the frame. Had to relocate the CDI module and harness to floor, with a hole from a drill & zip-ties.Went out for a ride one Saturday afternoon, in June and after some road bumps ,my CDI was dragging low & hanging down by the wires, Damn thing quit on me around 3 miles from my house !Had to push the scooter back home during late night,to test for the spark. The CDI was with scrapes and badly scratched.recently with the,No spark symptom, I’ve replaced the CDI module.The air flow blows air up around the chrome P.A.I.R & valve cover to help cool it down.Fan helps cool, during long rides in the desert on unpaved, graded roads.See this movie first, if you want a fan on your scooter !
