I am using these Goofit brake levers on my electric recumbent trike. The levers have extra long arms which allow ample leverage, particularly for friction brakes such as I have on the trike. I had to redo the connectors to match up with the connectors on my controller but that is quite typical when doing a mix-and-match fabrication. In additional to their functionality I like the look of these levers and they are simple to install and adjust.
The distance the cord gets pulled is dr = L / (MA + 1). 100% physics checks out. Object was in fact made in this universe, which is comforting, if slightly disappointing. You can add oil to reduce friction and improve efficiency. If you attach it to a bike or scooter disc brake mechanism it can function as the actuator, driven by squeezing with your hands, mouth, hips, or gluteus maximus. Unsure if it can be actuated by toes or anything else as I have yet to try.
