Installed on a Honda Helix you do need to just switch the blue and green wires but its super easy, works accurate so far after 150mi
As stated in other review, for it to work on the Honda helix you need to switch around the placement of the green/blue wires. You can use a small pick or flat head screw driver and press the metal tab inside the plug and pull the wire out from the back and swap them around. I plugged it in prior to putting it in the tank and was able to simulate different levels of fuel readings. One thing I would say is that it seems to take a bit of time holding it in one position for the reading to change. My oem one was broken when I got my Helix so don't know if that is the same function. I reused the lock ring from the original one because the one that comes with this is a little flimsy.
