The GOOFIT 21mm Carburetor replacement is a game-changer for my 80cc Aprilia. With a 21mm inner diameter on the intake side, it's a perfect performance upgrade for any 2-stroke 50cc to 100cc scooters and mopeds. The aluminum used on this is top notch with an anodized finish. I found idle, responsiveness when accelerating and idling to far outperform the original damaged carburetor.
I wanted to upgrade my carburetor on my motorized bicycle, but I wanted the same clamp on style as the stock carburetor that comes with the motor kit. As I don’t like the look of a rubber hose and hose clamps in order to attach it to the intake or in my case the reed valve. Finally I found this carburetor I had to get a bigger intake for my reed valve which is available and I got the 21mm version. Two things I didn’t realize which might be two things that other people might like about this version of the carb. First thing the fuel mixture screw and idle screw are on the right side where my exhausts runs and burning my hands was not an option to tune adjust the carburetor. So either I found new exhausts that bends a different way or I get a different carburetor, which luckily there is a version of the carburetor which all the adjustments on the left side as I will put a picture showing that one. Second thing I don’t like which again might be what someone is looking for and likes about this carb is that it has a cable operated choke. I just like haveing less parts to have to replace when they go bad and another cable is just another part that could go bad! Plus I’d have to mount a choke lever somewhere. But other than those two things the performance I got from this carburetor is Awsome. It gives me power all the way through from start to full throttle. The fuel bowl is big and doesn’t run out which was one issue I was haveing with the stock carburetor. The only adjustments I made was I replaced the needle, atomizer and main jet sizes to better fine tune it but it ran without doing any of those three things I was just trying to get most performance I could and I did. My bike went from 47 mph to 55. Mph once it was tuned and dialed in. I might add your gonna have to tune any new carburetor as every motor is different and where you live as far as sea level can also change how your carburetor is tuned
