Fitment FAQ
Will this part fit my specific model and year?
This headlight is intended for Off-Road Dirt Pit Bike (White). Use the compatibility table and product photos together before ordering.
Do I need to match the OEM part number?
Yes. If your original part has a stamped OEM or manufacturer number, match that number first before ordering. For this headlight, also compare the voltage/wattage, bulb type, connector plug, mounting tabs, lens shape, and available front-fairing space.
What models or situations does this part not fit?
Do not order this headlight for machines outside the listed compatibility, or for units with different bulb types, mounting tabs, voltage ratings, front shroud shapes, or connector plugs. Do not rely only on the model name or engine size.
What should I check before ordering?
Before ordering, compare your original part with the photos and check the voltage/wattage, bulb type, connector plug, mounting tabs, lens shape, and available front-fairing space. If any connector, mounting point, size, or year detail is different, confirm fitment before installation.
To he totally honest, I didn't expect a lot for the $22 I paid for this headlight before the discount. (Even got it on a 2-for-1 promotion for a killer price on top of that!)It's listed as "universal", but it's a direct fit on my Husky FC450, drops right in place of the number plate, and should fit FE series as well. That said, I wanted it to freshen up an old Honda XR600R I'm working on. Obviously it didn't fit that bike, but I was able to draw up some brackets in CAD and 3D print them to tie the two together. It works well on the bike with the oversize fuel tank I have on it as well, and looks much better than anything else I have available. It's about as bright as the stock headlight on my XR400R, plenty light for trail rides at night. It uses a standard H4 main bulb (not sure what the small one is) which is a plus. The old XR just has a lighting coil that energizes when the engine runs, and the light is always on with just two wires to it. I only wired the high beam, and it works fine! There's only a limited amount of adjustment up and down in the light, so I had to re-make my mounting brackets once I found it was aimed a little high the first time around, but on the KTM/Huskys that it is intended to fit, this shouldn't be an issue. The included rubber mounting straps are also somewhat large, they work on the large diameter inverted forks on the Husky, but were loose on the XR's conventional forks. I ended up using straps from a different light that fit better in my case. Again, not a problem when used as intended, but since they're marketing it as a universal light, these are things you might want to consider.
Nice looking, fitting headlight for cheap price..
