Switch works great, had to rewire connector as it didn't match with my dirt-bike but easy fix.
Works good came very fast easy to install
One of my friends needed a new ignition for his 50cc that he was restoring, and I happened to see this and knowing he needed one got it. It is a well made 4 wire ignition. It has a 4 pin ignition switch, and comes with 2 metal keys-which my friend was impressed with saying that most ignitions come with flimsy cheap keys that are small. The wires have very good insulation, and because the colors are distinguished he said it was a really easy install for him. He was very impressed with the ignition and asked me for the company so he can look into buying future parts from them.I received this product for a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
The switch action is smooth and seems well made. In my case, it required a complete rewiring which I ended up cutting connectors off both new switch and 4 wheeler wiring harness to solder the wires and protect with heat shrink. This modification is not for everyone and I want to offer some advice on how to avoid finding yourself in this situation. I want to state this is in no way a refection of bad quality, but instead a compatibility issue with my particular need. After my modification, works perfectly. If I had pulled the old switch and examined connection before ordering blindly by description, I would have known my key-switch harness was a different gender than this GOOFIT Ignition Key Set. See my attached picture and you will understand why I had an issue. The GOOFIT new harness connector is on the left and my old original harness connector is on the right. Even with the correct gender connector, you still may have to move the pins within connector to different positions but this is by far easier than if you get the completely opposite gender connector than the one you need.
