Key physical/spec details from the product data include Outer Diameter: 88 mm (3.47"), Inner Diameter: 35 mm (1.38"), 88 mm. Use the compatibility table and product photos together before ordering.
Do I need to match the OEM part number?
Yes. Match your original part number to 31120-KPS-902, 2003-2017, 31120-KPS-901, 31120-KPS-900 before purchase. For this magneto stator, also compare the OEM number, outer/inner diameter, core height or thickness, plug shape, wire count, mounting holes, pickup position, and rubber grommet style. This is especially important for Honda CRF230F/KPS-902 models because similar model names can use different parts by year or trim.
What models or situations does this part not fit?

If your original part number does not cross-reference with 31120-KPS-902, 2003-2017, 31120-KPS-901, 31120-KPS-900, treat the fitment as unconfirmed. Model years outside 2003–2017, 2003–2009, 2012–2017, 2003, 2017 should be verified separately. Do not rely only on the model name or engine size.
What should I check before ordering?
Before ordering, compare your original part with the photos and check the OEM number, outer/inner diameter, core height or thickness, plug shape, wire count, mounting holes, pickup position, and rubber grommet style. Confirm OEM/cross-reference number(s): 31120-KPS-902, 2003-2017, 31120-KPS-901, 31120-KPS-900. Recheck listed specs such as Outer Diameter: 88 mm (3.47"), Inner Diameter: 35 mm (1.38"), 88 mm. If any connector, mounting point, size, or year detail is different, confirm fitment before installation.
I got this ignition coil as replacement for my friends dirt bike Honda CRF 230f.
I was helping my friend with the replacement, and I have to say that it's not an easy job especially if you have not done it before. But fortunately, my friend knew, what he was doing, therefore, replacement was easy and smooth. The size on the coil was alright and the adapters on the wiring harness also fitted in well. I would definitely advice to get a new crankcase cover gasket, so that you are able to seal everything back the way it was.
My friend has used his dirt bike on few occasions since the replacement and everything works alright.
