Product Overview
Replacement recoil pull starter assembly for selected GX120, GX160, GX200, and 168F horizontal-shaft gasoline engines used in generators, pressure washers, water pumps, lawn and garden equipment, and other small-engine applications.
This starter uses a 6-bolt mounting configuration with a listed approximately 160mm (6.30") mounting reference and 53mm (2.09") center / engagement diameter.
It is commonly used on compatible 168F, GX160, and GX200-style 5.5HP / 6.5HP-class engines, but similar-looking engines can use different starter housings and engagement mechanisms.
Before ordering, compare the 6-hole mounting pattern, housing diameter, mounting dimensions, center engagement area, starter pawls, and overall housing shape with the original recoil starter.
