GOOFIT Universal 4-Wire 12V Voltage Regulator – Power Stability Series
Protect your electrical system from the ground up. The GOOFIT 4-Wire 12V Voltage Regulator is an essential replacement for the most popular small-engine platforms in the world. Whether you are running a GY6 50cc scooter or a CG 250cc dirt bike, this regulator manages the raw AC power from your stator and converts it into a stable DC charge for your battery.
Designed for reliability, this unit prevents the overcharging that leads to battery swelling and protects your lights from blowing during high-RPM riding. With an operating temperature range of 20°C to 60°C, it is built to handle the heat of long trail rides or city traffic.
Product Compatibility
This universal 4-wire unit is a direct replacement for:
- Engine Types: GY6 (50cc, 60cc, 80cc, 125cc, 150cc) and CG (125cc, 200cc, 250cc).
- Vehicle Types: ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Go Karts, Mopeds, and Scooters.
- Plug Style: 4-Pin Female Plug (11mm x 14mm).
Key Technical Specifications:
- Voltage: 12V (Idling Output: 12.5~13V ±0.5V).
- Max Wattage: 55W.
- Dimensions: 67mm x 59mm x 22mm.
- Wire Length: 168mm (6.61").
- Wiring Guide: Red (Battery +), Green (Battery -), Yellow & Pink (AC Input from Stator).
Why Choose the GOOFIT 4-Wire Regulator?
- Dual-Platform Versatility: One of the few regulators engineered to work seamlessly with both GY6 (scooter style) and CG (vertical dirt bike style) wiring harnesses, making it a must-have for any repair shop or DIY toolkit.
- Precision Charging: Calibrated to deliver a steady idling voltage of 12.5–13V, ensuring your battery stays healthy without the risk of over-voltage damage to your ignition system.
- Durable Heat Dissipation: The aluminum-alloy housing is designed to draw heat away from the internal circuitry, preventing the "thermal failure" common in cheap plastic-backed units.
- Plug-and-Play Setup: Featuring a standard 168mm wire lead and a secure 4-pin female plug, this unit installs in minutes without the need for custom wire splicing in most applications.

Worked great. Easy to install. Brand new condition. Would recommend.
Spliced into an SSR 125 pitbike and now I have a headlight when it is running.
Very happy with this rectifier. Outboard boat motor (9.9 HP) needed one to make the charging circuit work. Hooked it up after reading many reviews (so I could find out what the wire colors were). It does not come with a wiring diagram or instructions, but it is very straightforward if you know how a rectifier works. There are enough reviews online to find the correct wiring arrangement. Works like a charm on the motor.
Haven't got to use them yet but they are what I expected them to be ...
I purchased a new Areins Deluxe 24 snowblower, which is a great machine, except for a dismal headlight. I often found blowing snow in the evening, so lighting was important for me.The engine had a pair of wires coming out that were connected to the OEM halogen headlight. As I am a retired electrician, I checked the output and found it to be 14.7 volts AC. If you connect newer LED lighting to AC, it will flicker, especially at lower engine speed. By connecting this full-wave rectifier/voltage regulator, I can now get 13.5 volts of DC power to supply to thenew super-bright LED's with no flickering.I would definitely recommend for anyone doing an upgrade to equipment such as a lawnmower, snowblower, etc. I will mention, I believe this will work on any engine that has TWO wires coming out of it for charging circuit. Works for me...no problems.
