Installed on my zero turn, worked and continues to work. Tested charging system with meter after installation and measured 14.6v. Easy to install and no problems since.
Installed on my Dixie chopper with Kawasaki FX730V. OEM part was over 40 dollars. Watched video on Youtube and installed in under 10 minutes. No more charging on jumping battery.
I was so happy to finally get my mower back up and running again after replacing a part. During the repair process, I couldn't help but notice that the replacement part seems to be constructed with significantly better materials and has a noticeably higher quality feel compared to the original product that I had pulled off to replace.
Part was an exact replacement for the one on my Husqvarna YT42 riding mower. Easy replacement. Just remove two wires and two screws and install the new unit. Check your battery voltage before starting the mower - should be around 12.4 VDC. After replacing the regulator, start the mower and idle at full throttle - recheck DC voltage at the battery while the mower is running - should read at least 13.4 VDC - more is better. If you don��t get at least 13.4V then check your wiring and stator output.
Works great on my Kawasaki FR engine.
