I was having some serious charging issues with my touring motorcycle and narrowed the problem down to a burnt out stator coil. I decided to try this replacement part and it has got the bike running perfectly again. The build quality looks very close to the original factory component and all the mounting holes lined up exactly as they should inside the engine casing. The wiring length was spot on and the connector clipped into the main wiring harness without any annoying modifications required. After putting everything back together, my battery is charging correctly again even with all my auxiliary driving lights switched on.
I've tested this stator in replacement for an original stator in my Electra and it's proven to be an excellent replacement for my OEM stator. It visually is no different and has proper build quality. High-grade metal used it seems and copper windings look very well constructed. Arrives wrapped and covered in oil so no rust or corrosion present.
No performance difference, provides consistent power generation and charging voltage is stable from idle to redline.
Fitment was good too. As I mentioned, visually looks the same and measures the same so installation was easy.
A good value OEM alternative.
I bought this stator as a replacement/spare for a Street Glide since stators are unfortunately something we��ve dealt with more than once. Out of the box, it feels solid and heavy duty, not cheap or flimsy.
We tested it before install and it��s putting out the amps it��s supposed to, which is the most important part. Fit matched what was expected for the bike, and there were no obvious issues with wiring or connections.
Time will tell on long-term durability, but based on initial testing and build quality, it seems like a good option to have on hand instead of scrambling during a breakdown. So far, it��s doing exactly what it should.
I installed this 18-coil, 3-wire stator to replace a failing OEM unit on a 2010 Road Glide. The stator fit directly onto the engine��s mounting points, and the male connectors plugged in without modification. Once installed, the charging system voltage stabilized within the correct range across idle and highway RPMs, and the battery maintained a full charge under normal riding conditions. This product handled the continuous operation without overheating, and the electrical output was consistent.
